これまで日本の科学技術力は、世界に名だたるものでした。しかし、その情報発信の力は、言葉の壁があり、貧しい現状です。サイエンス・メディア・センターは、世界各国のサイエンス・メディア・センターと協力して、日本の科学技術情報を英語や中国語（予定）で発信していきます。Japanese science and technology has made its mark in the world.  But language barriers have long stood in the way between science and the media. With the help of science media centres around the globe, we have begun to send out information about science news making headlines in Japan to journalists overseas in English and Chinese (planned).
